Professor Sue Black OBE is an award-winning computer scientist, radical thinker, keynote speaker, social entrepreneur and Professor of Computer Science and Technology Evangelist at Durham University. Sue spins many plates, but at the heart of all her work is inspiring others. With a dedicated Twitter tribe of over 65,500 Sue was an early adopter of the power of the platform. She led the high profile and hugely successful campaign to save Bletchley park, capitalising upon social media as a fitting continuation of institute’s technological legacy. The Chartered Institute for IT Deputy President.

As a keynote speaker she talks about leaving school at 16, being married by 20 with 3 children at 23, then becoming a single parent at 25! Sue’s speech is uplifting and positive and although her world is tech, her message is an inspiration for us all to be our best selves, its called – ‘If I can do it, so can you’.
