Laura Whitmore is a well-established and highly experienced TV presenter and radio broadcaster, best known for hosting Love Island, Celebrity Juice, I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here Now, and MTV, as well as her own BBC Radio 5 Live series, The Laura Whitmore Show.

She currently co-hosts the BBC podcast Murder They Wrote with Iain Stirling and has previously hosted Castaway—a podcast about podcasts—and Spotify’s Partners in Crime. Laura is also the presenter and associate producer of her successful ITV documentary series, Laura Whitmore Investigates.

This year, she took part in Comic Relief’s ‘Snow Way Back’ Arctic Trek to raise funds for Red Nose Day, which aired in a prime-time BBC One documentary. In 2023, she voiced Amazon Prime’s new dating show Date My Mate and hosted Laura Whitmore’s Breakfast Show on ITV1, a ten-week lifestyle and entertainment series featuring celebrity interviews and topical discussions.

Laura’s love for music has led her to DJ at some of the world’s most prestigious venues, and she has interviewed many of the biggest names in the music industry.

As an actress, Laura wrote and starred in her short film Sabhdh, which earned her Best Actress at the Irish Film Awards. In September 2022, she made her West End debut as Jenny in the critically acclaimed 2:22 A Ghost Story. In 2024, she will appear in Channel 4’s highly anticipated drama Queenie and the feature film A Mother for an Hour.

With a degree in journalism, Laura has always had a passion for writing. Her 2018 article on Upskirting and the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements went viral on The Huffington Post, and she has contributed features on topics like abortion and social media’s effects for Grazia, Hot Press, Elle, and Glamour. Her poem She, written for International Women’s Day, was widely shared, and her debut book, No One Can Change Your Life Except For You, became a Sunday Times bestseller after its release in 2021.
