Kaye anchored the ITV daytime talk show 'Loose Women' for seven years, where her journalistic training, incisiveness, and humour combined with the rest of the female panel to create a popular and engaging mix of topical issues and entertainment.
She was appointed a UNICEF UK Ambassador for Scotland.
Kaye started her media career as a graduate trainee at Central Television, concentrating on political and news journalism. Her first coup was a one hour interview with Margaret Thatcher. For the next few years, she remained focused on hard news, but a chance opportunity to host a discussion show for Scottish Television set her off on a different path.
She went on to present two series of 'It's Your Funeral' for Channel 5, 'The People Versus...' for ITV and, of course, the hugely successful 'Loose Women'.
Kaye co-hosts Sunday Scoop on ITV, with Nadia Sawalha. She writes a weekly column in the Daily Record and is a popular choice for corporate events.
"We were very pleased with Kaye as our event after-dinner speaker. She was very approachable, interested in finding out about the organisation and our current issues, as well as some feedback on what had happened during the day at the conference, and tailored her speech to reflect these. She listened to our brief and delivered a funny and entertaining talk, at just the right length, reflecting on her wide range of experience as a presenter and broadcaster, particularly in her phone-in shows on TV and radio, set just at the right tone. We were particularly pleased that she chose to join us for dinner and engaged with the guests at her table. We would not hesitate to recommend her for other events."
