Karen Carney

Karen, a former Chelsea, Arsenal, and Lioness legend, now serves as the leading female pundit for both men's and women's football on TNT and ITV.

With an impressive 144 caps, Karen is England’s third most-capped player, having competed in four World Cups, four European Championships, and the London Olympics before retiring in 2019.

Beyond her remarkable playing and broadcasting career, Karen has become a pioneering figure in advancing women’s sport. In 2022, she spearheaded a landmark government review in partnership with the Department for Culture, Media, and Sport on the 'Future of Women’s Football' in the UK. Her recommendations were fully endorsed by the government in 2023. That same year, she hosted ITV's ‘Leaders of the Pack,’ where she had candid discussions with key figures in international women’s football.

Karen made history during the 2022 Men's World Cup as part of the first all-female panel to analyse a men's football match. In the summer of 2024, she led ITV’s coverage of the Euros in Germany, including the dramatic England vs. Spain final, alongside other sporting icons.

Karen is frequently invited to speak at major corporate events, where she shares insights from her elite sports career and how they translate into the business world. She is a Global Ambassador for Pepsi and sponsored by Nike, while regularly collaborating with major brands such as BMW, Heineken, Booking.com, Continental Tyres, and Violife, among others.
