Clare Balding OBE

Clare Balding is an award-winning broadcaster and author; one of Britain’s most respected media personalities with an enviable track record of consistent top quality achievement, especially when working live.

Clare has worked on every Olympic Games since 1996 and on every Paralympics since 2000. Winning the BAFTA’s Special Award for her work on London 2012, she continues to present major events in sport, factual documentaries, and Royal events such as the wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. 

A passionate campaigner for equality and women’s sport, Clare is also a best-selling author of two memoirs and four children’s novels, alongside her latest non-fiction Heroic Animals and children’s non-fiction Fall Off, Get Back On, Keep Going. Clare was invested as a Commander of the British Empire by HRH The Princess Royal in December 2022 at Buckingham Palace for her services to sport and charity.
