Chanita gained recognition as a star on season 7 of Married At First Sight UK, but her journey has been far from easy. Growing up, Chanita faced numerous challenges, including neglect, emotional and physical abuse, domestic violence, and the impact of parental mental health issues and alcohol misuse. These experiences inspired her to pursue a career as a qualified children's social worker. She has also become an ambassador for NACOA and a champion for Refuge, advocating for vulnerable individuals and families.
Earlier this year, Chanita faced the heartbreaking loss of her mother, who passed away from cancer following a sudden diagnosis. This tragedy has deepened her commitment to raising awareness and speaking out on issues like mental health, domestic violence, alcohol misuse, grief, and the impact of cancer.
