Amanda Wakeley OBE’s signature label was launched in 1990 as a luxury brand designing stylish womenswear and accessories which have gained her an A- List clientele as well as winning awards.
Amanda has won the British Fashion Award for Glamour times, and has styled and dressed some of the most glamorous and famous women as well as many members of the royal family including the late Diana, Princess of Wales, Queen Rania of Jordan and most recently, Meghan Markle.
She gained the confidence to launch her own brand whilst working for a powerful New York designer and retailer, learning about how to run a business and teaching herself on working on her own designs. With her inaugural store opening in Fulham Road in 2009, her pieces began with ready-to-wear items, now including jewellery, accessories and bridal gowns. Her ranges are stocked by Harvey Nichols and Harrods, with her brand now being globally recognised.
Awarded an OBE in 2010 for her services to the fashion industry, Amanda is no stranger to tough challenges in her journey to business success, and she regulary speaks of these in her speeches. She has helped raise over £10 million as co-chair of the Fashion Targets Breast Cancer appeal.
